5 Reasons Pet Scoop Is Thankful This Thanksgiving

Pet Scoop has a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Here are the 5 reasons we are thankful:

1. We are very thankful for God's many blessings.

2. We couldn't be more thankful for our amazing clients.

3. We are incredibly thankful for our fun-loving staff here at Pet Scoop.

4. We wouldn't be here if it weren't for pooping dogs, so for that...we are very thankful. (Who else could say that?)

5. Last but definitely not least, we are thankful for great Woody Allen quotes like this one:  " I am thankful for laughter, except when milk comes out my nose."

Routing Assistant

With Pet Scoop since 01/24/2007

I was born and raised in this beautiful state. Not only do I work for Pet Scoop, I proudly work (serve) as a firefighter for Golden Fire Department. I've been on the dept for almost 2 years and I absolutely love it. My goal is to someday serve our communities as a career firefighter. This past May, I graduated from Red Rocks Community College with my Associates of Fire Science. My avocations include helping others, traveling, painting, water sports, baking/decorating cakes, and anything that involves adventure! I have always had a deep connection with animals, especially dogs. That is what drew me to Pet Scoop. This January will be 6 wonderful years with the Pet Scoop family.

Annual Holiday for the Animals Drive

This year we are working to gather food for some gentle giants in need. The Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue averages 25-30 dogs in foster homes (like Grits pictured below) awaiting their forever homes and happily ever after stories. gritsThe rescue is completely non-profit and is run by volunteers. With pet food prices skyrocketing, the rescue desperately needs help providing food for the dogs. Numerous danes in rescue need medical attention, such as Maverick, so funds are being depleted quickly. Below is a list of approved foods the rescue is willing to accept. If you would like to donate a bag of food, just let us know. Your scooper can pick it up and leave you a donation receipt. If you are unable to donate a bag of food, you can make a monetary donation through the rescue's website or we can collect your donation and pass it on to the rescue. We will be collecting food for them through the end of December.
